New Belgium – Pumpkick Ale takes the pumpkin ale approach and mellows it out with the addition of cranberry and pumpkin juices. The resulting beer is smooth with a slightly spicy finish. New to Michigan this year, it’s certainly worth a try. ABV – 6.0%
Founders Brewing – Rubaeus Raspberry Ale is much akin to a sparkling raspberry juice. Add a very malty body and a tart finish and you’ve got a beer that nicely transitions the pallet from summer beer to fall beer. ABV – 5.7%
Arcadia Ales – Jaw-Jacker Pumpkin Spiced Ale has no pumpkin in it, despite the name. Instead, the craft brewers at Arcadia Ales have combined an Amber-Wheat ale with a myriad of spices, including cinnamon and nutmeg, to create this spicy autumn treat! If you like spicy, you’ll like this one. ABV – 6.0%
